A former AHS president and symposium chair / co-chair, Alan served as the City of Peoria’s Water Policy Administrator from 2007 to 2019 before retiring. In that role, he provided regulatory and hydrogeological expertise and represented the City in interactions with CAWCD, SRP, ADWR, Arizona Power Authority, Bureau of Reclamation, and other organizations. Prior to Peoria, Alan worked at ADWR in its Assured and Adequate Water Supply, well drilling permits, and recharge programs. Alan also served as a program supervisor at ADEQ, where he managed the State Lead Unit of the Underground Storage Tank (UST) Section and created the new UST Remedial Actions Unit.
