What Does a Moderator Do?
Prior to the symposium, you’ll be responsible for emailing your speakers to verify that they have registered and submitted their PowerPoint presentation.
At the symposium, you’ll introduce each speaker and help out with logistics such as loading presentations from the meeting room computer to the projection screen, ensuring that lighting and audiovisual equipment is ready to go, and arranging for time-keeping.

Check out our online program to see which technical sessions need moderators (as of now, only the “Supply & Augmentation” session has been claimed).
