The Tucson AHS Chapter is accepting applicants for the 2022 Halpenny Intern Scholarship Program. The program provides an opportunity for the selected student to gain experience with at least two water resources and environmental organizations in the Tucson area. Monetary award for the student recipient is $3,000 for 200 hours of experience.
This program is open to students enrolled in a hydrology-related discipline at any Arizona college or university. Past participating organizations have included government agencies, private industry employers, and environmental consulting firms.
Interested applicants should download an application packet and send a completed application to Marla Odom in hard copy or PDF electronic format. The deadline to submit is April 18, 2022. Interviews will be conducted in early May and the recipient will be announced shortly after the interviews.
