ADEQ invites stakeholders to review and provide comments on its Draft 2016 Clean Water Act Assessment, which describes the water quality of Arizona’s streams and lakes. It determines whether a water can be used safely for drinking water, recreation, fish consumption, irrigation, and/or livestock watering, and whether it protects both aquatic life and wildlife.
The 45-day formal public comment period began on Monday, June 13, and ends Thursday, July 28.
