The Flagstaff Chapter co-hosted an event with AZ Water Association at the Museum Club for Northern Arizona Water Professionals Appreciation Week on Friday April 15. A nice mix of over 50 water professionals attended and a great time was had by all! Congressman Tom O’Halleran even paid a visit. It takes leadership like that of Mr. O’Halleran and the sponsor of the water professional’s week proclamation, Senator Gabaldon, to give the water services we all provide proper attention. Our best work is commonly buried underground – so long as the water keeps flowing, water planning, line breaks, aging and new infrastructure issues are not at the forefront of the public’s minds.
