Congratulations to Tristan Dicke, who was selected for the 2019 AHS Charles C. Avery Intern Scholarship. Tristan is an NAU graduate who has a bachelor of science in geology with a hydrogeology emphasis and who is currently enrolled in graduate school at the UA, where he is studying hydrology. An avid outdoor enthusiast, Tristan has been enamored by the geology and hydrology of the Grand Canyon region since he was a child. His is considering several possible organizations to intern with such as the USGS, City of Flagstaff, Museum of Northern Arizona, and the consulting firm Tata and Howard. His already considerable experience in geophysics and field hydrology, combined with his previous classroom learning, will make him a great intern for any organizations he chooses.
