ADWR and Central Arizona Water Conservation District (CAWCD) are committed to bringing the Drought Contingency Plan (DCP) to closure in Arizona by addressing a broad range of issues that respect the concerns of all stakeholders across the state.
Two public meetings — an AZDCP briefing and technical follow-up — were held, and now the steering committee will continue the collaborative process. The steering committee includes approximately 40 Arizona water professionals. They will meet approximately every 2 weeks and the specific dates, locations, and meeting times will be posted when they are confirmed. Meetings will not be live streamed but they will be recorded and posted shortly after the meeting concludes.
