Research papers are now being accepted for the 2016 CAP Award for Water Research. Submissions should focus on water issues that affect central and southern Arizona and/or the Colorado River. Papers may focus on legal, economic, political, environmental, or water management issues, or other issues that might be of interest to CAP or Arizona water users. Papers that support a position are especially encouraged. Suggested topics include but are not limited to:

- Environmental Law
- Groundwater Resources
- Native American Water Issues
- Public Perception
- Recharge
- Riparian Habitat
- Subsidence
- Surface Water Resources
- Surface/Groundwater Relationships

Winners will receive scholarships to attend and present their research at the 2016 AHS Symposium.
