Tucson Water is in the process of preparing a comprehensive, long-range plan to guide the management of its water resources for the next 80 years.
The plan is based on a nationally recognized, integrated approach known as “One Water.” The goal of the One Water 2100 Plan is to foster a shared vision for providing a reliable source of the highest-quality potable and non-potable water for Tucson in the decades to come. Developed through extensive community engagement, the Plan considers changing conditions such as population growth, climate change, economic development, conservation practices, and water quality.
The City of Tucson now seeks public review and comment. The City asks that page numbers be provided if comments are directed toward specific statements within the draft plan. The public comment period closes on July 21.
