The AHS Phoenix Chapter is pleased to announce that Justin Romano has been selected as the Herman Bouwer Intern scholarship winner for 2022. Justin is a senior in Geological Sciences at Arizona State University who will be finishing his undergraduate degree in December.
Justin is incredibly passionate about geology, with an ultimate goal of becoming an astronaut and exploring the geology of Mars. Until then he will be completing geology field camp this summer followed by gaining some work experience as an AHS intern scholar. After graduation he hopes to begin his career while also pursuing an MS in geology.
