Policy and Regulatory Issues to be Addressed at NAWL 17

The 2017 North American Water Loss Conference (NAWL17) to be held December 3–5 in San Diego will feature an extensive program on the topics of water loss management and experiences in North America.

In addition to three tracks of presentations on a wide variety of subjects and one track of learning modules, there will be a panel on the growing impact of water loss control on drinking water utilities, both from a regulatory as well as a policy perspective.

The speakers include Max Gomberg from the California Water Resources Board, Bennett Weinstein from the Georgia Environmental Protection Division, Mary Ann Dickinson from the Alliance for Water Efficiency, and Ed Osann from the Natural Resources Defense Council. There will also be an opportunity for audience discussion on the role of regulations in water loss management.
