On April 13, Kirk Craig (Geosyntec and ASU) gave a talk at the monthly meeting of the Environmental Professionals of Arizona, an organization with goals similar as AHS. Attendance was double the usual number, indicating the high degree of interest. His presentation hit the highlights of EPA’s recent movements concerning perfluoroalkyl substances, or PFAS. The Feds appear to be moving quickly to tighten down regulations on these anthropogenic compounds.
