Real Storm Simulation in HEC-RAS 2D Modeling

Since version 6.0, HEC RAS added functions to support use of gridded rainfall data. This allows users to tap into tremendous historical storm data collected by various agencies. However, no tutorial / manual / documentation is available to guide users to apply the historical rainfall data on a 2D rain-on-mesh modeling. In this webinar, we will show the key steps, including downloading Muti-Radar Multi-Sensor (MRMS) historical storm data, treating the data with tools like HEC-Vortex / HEC-MetVue, applying the data to the 2D modeling, and viewing the storm animation.
