CAGRD Mid-Plan Review – Draft Posted for Public Comment

The public is welcome to comment on the draft Central Arizona Groundwater Replenishment District (CAGRD) Mid-Plan Review. The Mid-Plan Review is not required by law, but rather is a commitment by the Board to enhanced reporting and transparency in CAGRD’s operations.

Over the past year, through a series of reports and briefings to the CAGRD and Underground Storage Committee, CAGRD staff members have reviewed the trends and operational activities that have occurred since the approval of the 2015 Plan of Operation. The Mid-Plan Review document includes the key findings shared with the Committee this year and provides a current status of CAGRD operations.

The Committee and CAGRD staff is looking for comments regarding:

  • the structure of the document,
  • areas of the report needing further clarification or detail, and/or,
  • constructive stakeholder feedback that provides suggestions for changes or improvements

To comment, send an email to MidPlanReview@cap-az.com through Jan. 24. All comments received during this period will be shared with the Committee and full Central Arizona Water Conservation District (CAWCD) Board of Directors in February and March, after which the Mid-Plan Review will be finalized.
