Are you the next APS Water Resource Management Intern?
The Water Resource Management Intern will support the department in securing and managing sufficient and sustainable water supplies to support power generation at APS power plants. This work supports Arizona’s growth and ensures reliable energy to customers across the state through responsible water consumption and conservation.
The intern may be assigned a project with tasks that include but are not limited to:
- Data collection, entry, and analysis
- Meeting with regulatory agencies and/or attend statewide water planning meetings
- Project management and/or research assistance
- Collaborate with other APS departments and/or hydrologic consulting/engineering firms
- Field visits to power plant groundwater supply wells and systems
Minimum Requirements
- Actively enrolled in an accredited college or university undergraduate or graduate degree
program. - Must show ongoing achievement in areas of study and training.
