Just in case you ever doubted whether AHS makes an impact…
We received a packet from a group of fourth graders at the Richard B. Wilson School in Oro Valley — the 1st Place winners of SARSEF for their “The Power of Water” project, which won a $50 prize, the AHS Award of Excellence. There were more than 40 cards with thank you notes and drawings addressed to the “Tucson Hydrological Society,” some of which demonstrate an understanding of key hydrologic concepts!
