The Flagstaff Chapter is pleased to announce the selection of Madeleine Stoll as the 2018 Charles Avery Intern. Madeleine is a senior at NAU pursuing a BSE in environmental engineering. She was chosen for her strong interest in bioremediation and desire to better understand the importance of hydrology within those strategies. She is excited to utilize her experiences in natural resource management and local government to work with a variety of organizations throughout northern Arizona. Madeleine will be working with the USGS and has already spent a week in the Grand Canyon sampling springs. She will also work with the City of Flagstaff’s Water Resources Division and is lining up time with a local consulting firm focused on bioremediation.
