10X Water Summit to be Held in Phoenix March 26–28

The U.S. I-10 corridor provides a compelling window on the future of the country — one that presents the challenges of the 21st century in their highest relief. This transect strings together many of the most pressing societal, economic, urban, and environmental topics of our time. The second annual Ten Across (10X) Water Summit looks at this region as a living laboratory for resilience, adaptation, and innovation — specifically, the increasingly arid conditions in California and the Southwest, coastal degradation and flooding in the Gulf region, and numerous multi-jurisdictional disputes over water. These are matters of increasing urgency as this region continues to grow in population.

The 10X Water Summit will address the realities of increased water demand, diminishing resources, more frequent inundation, and even questions of retreat pressed by such circumstances. In addition to case studies and related science, the Summit will focus on communicating these complex and urgent issues to a public that is challenged to respond to an unprecedented flow of fact, fiction, and uncertainty.
