UA Launches Online Hub for Water Information: UA Water Network

At the University of Arizona (UA), more than 250 faculty and researchers specialize in topics related to water, with expertise ranging from the social sciences and public policy to civil engineering, biology, and environmental chemistry. To raise awareness about this water focus and to foster connections between faculty, students, businesses, and governments, the UA Water Sustainability Program has developed a new Water Network web portal.

Organized along five themes, the Water Network highlights the many waysUA faculty and researchers are tackling complex water issues. You can use the site to gain a cohesive understanding of the UA’s water research and the water issues being faced in the Southwest and around the world. The site features engaging videos and an events calendar that compiles water-related seminars, brown bags, and colloquiums. It also includes a directory that is searchable by topic, person, or department and numerous links for students and researchers.
