On May 10th, the Phoenix Chapter hosted a fundraiser at the San Tan Brewery in Chandler to support the Herman Bouwer Intern Scholarship program. Charlie Ester with SRP presented on Fire & Water: Restoring Arizona’s Forests, highlighting how we can restore our forests to protect them from mega-fire events. Over 40 people attended and approximately $700 profit will be given to the AHS Foundation to help fund the endowment for the internship program. It was a fun evening filled with networking, tasty beer, and food.
