New Jobs Board to Launch Soon
We’re excited to offer a new tool for both employers and job seekers in the water resources field: the new AHS jobs board.
How does this differ from our old system?
Employers can now post jobs and manage this entire process themselves. They can renew, edit, or remove postings, which expire automatically after 30, 60, or 90 days, depending on the length specified for the original listing. In addition, AHS members who are looking for work can post resumes online (this service is not available to nonmembers) and sign up for job alerts.
Note that the same “rules” for the old system still apply: We will remove (or edit) any postings that contain promotional language or simply direct job seekers to an external site without providing details about the position. We want this to be a user-friendly resource for our community, so please take the time to craft a well-written description of the job’s duties and your desired qualifications.
How much does it cost?
AHS members (regular and corporate) can post for FREE; the cost for nonmembers is $25 per 30-day posting. If you are not already a member, you can join here.
What will happen to the old system? Will my job postings migrate there automatically?
Unfortunately, no. We will be phasing out our old system over the next month; any jobs that have been posted there will be removed after 30 days. If you need to repost open positions, you can do so on the new jobs board.
