Got field or lab equipment that’s gathering dust? The UA’s new 1-year accelerated master’s program can use it.
As you may know, the UA’s Department of Hydrology and Water Resources is launching a new 1-year, in-person, intensive MS in hydrogeology starting in fall 2025. They want to make sure graduates are ready to hit the ground running in the profession — and part of that is getting proper field and lab equipment for them to use as they learn the ropes! If you have unused or underused equipment that you can donate to the cause, they would love to have it; your donations will allow students to gain the hands-on experience that is critical to their future success as hydrogeologists.
They’re looking for equipment such as water level sounders, various types of meters and probes (EC, DO, pH, etc.), data loggers, tensiometers, lysimeters, examples of well screens and other drilling-related items, sampling equipment, and more. To see a complete “wish list” of items, visit the program’s website.
