Call for Abstracts — 2018 AHS Symposium

Join us for our 31st annual symposium, a premier event in the Southwest for hydrology and water resources science, engineering, and public policy. This year’s symposium, themed “The Importance of Hydrology in a Vibrant Southwest,” will be held September 19-21 at the Desert Willow Conference Center in Phoenix. To submit an abstract for a presentation or poster, download the submission form, complete it, and email it to abstracts@ahssymposium.org by April 16. Possible topics include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Future of water markets
  • Governor Ducey’s legislation
  • Effects of climate change on water availability
  • Water issues in the Southwest (California / rural Arizona)
  • Sustainability of hydrology
  • Water supply
  • Water quality and remediation
  • Modeling
  • Mining
