The 16th biennial symposium on Managed Aquifer Recharge — “Recharge to the Rescue! Managed Aquifer Recharge as a Water Management Tool — will take place at on March 5-7, 2018, in San Diego. This event continues a long-standing series of symposia originating in Arizona in 1978. The 15th MAR Symposium was combined with the Ninth International Symposium on Managed Aquifer Recharge (ISMAR 9) held in Mexico City in 2016. AHS and the Groundwater Resources Association of California have teamed up to hold the BSMAR event with the location alternating between California and Arizona. Visit the GRA website for updates.
BSMAR 16 will be a 1.5-day symposium that will feature numerous oral presentations, poster presentations, an awards luncheon, and workshops. Abstracts are being sought for oral and poster presentations. To learn how to submit an abstract, click here.
