AWE (Arizona Women’s EnviroLink) is holding its fall luncheon meeting in Tucson rather than Phoenix this year. AWE is an informal networking group for Arizona professionals with diverse environmental backgrounds and interests. Please pass along the invitation and help make the Tucson luncheon a more regular event.
In a nod to the west’s fabled attachment to both water and whiskey, the event is being billed under the title “Whiskey is for Drinking and Water is for Fighting.” Leslie Katz from Montgomery & Associates will provide a brief update on some key emerging contaminants in drinking water. Steven Paul, from Hamilton Distillers, will follow with a presentation on his local craft whiskey operation.
