The program for the North American Water Loss 2017 conference, to be held December 3–5 in San Diego, has been posted. This biennial event is hosted by the California-Nevada Section AWWA in partnership with the Alliance for Water Efficiency and the NAWL 2017 conference planning committee.
More than 500 people participated in 2015, and about 1,000 are expected to attend this year. The 2-day program features more than 100 presentations in 3 tracks. Also included is a track of learning modules that cover the basics of water loss management, from water audits to customer meter management, as well as a series of “quick hitter” snapshots of utility water loss stories. Lastly, there will be a panel on the growing impact of water loss control on drinking water utilities, both from a regulatory and policy perspective.
