The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) has released the 2015 Report Card for Arizona’s Infrastructure. The Report Card includes grades for nine categories, mostly in the areas of transportation, flood control, and water and wastewater. The average grade for Arizona across all nine categories is about a C, with individual grades ranging from a D+ for roads to a B for bridges.
Categories of greater interest to AHS members include dams (C-), levees (C-), drinking water (C-), and wastewater (C).
