Every 10 years, the Central Arizona Groundwater Replenishment District (CAGRD) is required by law to submit a Plan of Operation to the director of ADWR.
The draft 2025 Plan outlines the replenishment activities proposed in the Phoenix, Pinal and Tucson Active Management Areas during the next 100 years, based on CAGRD membership activity through 2034. It also includes an overview on where the water is coming from based on CAGRD’s Water Supply Portfolio. CAGRD is planning to hold two upcoming public meetings to discuss the plan:
- The Central Arizona Water Conservation District (CAWCD)’s CAGRD and Underground Storage Committee – Thursday, Aug. 15, 1:30 p.m.
- Stakeholder Briefing – Monday, Aug. 26, 1 p.m.
Both meetings will be held at CAP headquarters, 23636 N. 7th Street in Phoenix, and will be livestreamed here.
