Program Updates

Talks and poster sessions. We have over 65 talks and poster sessions planned to give you new tools and insights.

Plenary Session: Reimagining Arizona’s Rivers with panelists Melissa McCann, Director, ASU University City Exchange; Tim Thomure, Director, Tucson Water; a representative from the Gila River Indian Community; and Mike Fulton, Flood Control District of Maricopa County. This diverse panel of experts will discuss and compare two proposed projects in southern Arizona. Sarah Porter (ASU) will moderate. [MORE]

Workshops. This year, we’re offering two half-day workshops that each cost $95 and run from 8 a.m. to noon on Wednesday. Practical Well Test Analysis with Dr. Peter Mock will help you enhance your skills in obtaining useful parameter estimates from well tests. Well Casing Assessment with Marvin Glotfelty and Gary Burchard will teach you how to maximize the analytical capabilities of well assessment logs and video surveys.

Social / Networking Events

Casino Night! Feeling lucky? Join us Thursday from 5–8 PM in the Cottonwood Ballroom for a fun-filled evening of casino games, including blackjack, craps, and roulette. The cost is included in your full registration or you can purchase admission (which includes dinner and three drink tickets) separately for $60. This event is perfect for experts and novices alike. Professional dealers will teach you everything you need to know about the games and ensure that everyone has a great experience.

Wednesday night icebreaker. Don’t forget about our Wednesday night icebreaker, which will be held from 5–7 PM in the exhibitor area. It’s a great way to catch up with old colleagues and friends, make new connections, and check out our exhibitor booths.
