Congratulations to our 2014 Charles C. Avery Intern Scholarship winner, Ms. Rae Lynn Byars.
Rae Lynn also won 1st place ($500) in the AHS undergraduate student poster competition at the 2014 combined AHS Annual Symposium and AIPG National Conference, for her poster “An Inquiry of Upper Lake Mary’s Water Quality and the Origins of the Lake Mary Basin.”
Rae Lynn will also be giving a podium presentation on her 2014 internship on Thursday, March 5, 2015, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM, in Room 103 of the Geology Building (#12) on the NAU Campus with a reception hosted by the AHS Flagstaff Chapter to follow at the Lumberyard Brewing Company.
