Volunteers Needed for the 6th Annual Gilbert Water Festival!

We Need YOU!

Join us for the 6th Annual Gilbert Water Festival, an educational field-day event that instills a deeper understanding of water in the earth system and Arizona’s water resources through:

  • Celebrating science and water stewardship
  • Hands-on learning activities for students
  • Business, municipal, and community involvement to show children career paths and opportunities within Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields

You can teach a lesson, coordinate learning station activities, help set up and breakdown, escort student classes, register volunteers, and more!

We’ll train you on March 2 on how the Water Festival works so you can feel confident when you teach the 4th grade students all about water.

Then, at the actual Water Festival event on March 8 and 9 you will teach (or assist with) the lesson you were trained on. We will provide lunch and snacks throughout the day.
