2017 Symposium Planning
The Flagstaff Chapter has already formed a planning committee for the 2017 Symposium and started assigning people to tasks. They also have a venue, the High Country Conference Center (next to the NAU campus), and dates: September 6–9. Not surprisingly, Symposium planning will dominate Chapter activities for the next 11 months. The committee is developing a theme and speaker ideas and plans to announce them after the November meeting.

Holiday Party
We are planning a Chapter holiday party for December in lieu of the monthly meeting. Venue and date TBD.
Upcoming Events for 2017
Abe Springer is bringing the Birdsall-Dreiss lecture to NAU early in 2017, and possibly the Darcy lecture as well. The Flagstaff Chapter will co-host both.
